Hi, I’m Zoe!
You’ve probably already seen the photographic services I offer on the rest of the site. So I’ll talk a bit about who’s behind the lens (it’s me).
In addition to being a photographer, I moonlight as a high school teacher / history nerd / travel junkie. I fancy myself a WWII buff and am very serious about pub trivia – my areas of specialisation include Tudor England, Harry Potter (books only), the band Queen, and Lord of the Rings.
I bring a camera almost everywhere, annoy my family and friends with constant photos, and during my maternity leave with my son had the brilliant idea to start a photography business for people who actually want their picture taken!
For me, photos are a way to stop time and preserve ephemeral moments. Who doesn’t want to look back on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation, their adorable baby, the excitement of getting engaged, a beloved pet? (Unsentimental people maybe – I can’t relate.)
No stage of life lasts forever, but the photos do 🙂
