Hi, I’m Zoe Bent! I’m a family & lifestyle photographer, and you’ve probably already seen the photographic services I offer on the home page. So I’ll talk a bit about myself: 

I’m a high school teacher / history nerd / travel junkie. I’m very serious about pub trivia (areas of specialisation: Tudor England, Harry Potter, the band Queen, Lord of the Rings). 

I bring a camera almost everywhere, annoy my family and friends with constant photos, and during my maternity leave with my son had the brilliant idea to start a photography business for people who actually want their picture taken!

For me, photos are a way to stop time and preserve ephemeral moments. Who doesn’t want to look back on an amazing vacation, their adorable baby, the excitement of getting engaged, a beloved pet? (Unsentimental people maybe – I can’t relate) 

No stage of life lasts forever, but the photos do 🙂
